Life @ 15 Months

I've been meaning to get some words here about our 15-month old boy and since he’s almost 16 months, I need to get it done quickly. Here are some bullet point style notes on what our last few months have looked like around here!

15 Month Stats:

Weight = 22 lbs 14 oz (30%)

Height = 30 ¾ in (45%)

Head = 43 ¼ cm (<3%)

 

February 2014:

Cousin Lily Chang born Feb 16!

Allergy testing showed allergies to Wheat, Rice, Oat, Eggs

Double ear infection

Celebrated Chris & Amy at lake house

Transition to Infant2 room at school

March 2014:

Celebrated the life of Great-Grandmother Alice Bowen (1929-2014)

1 seizure, ear infection

Saw aunt Chelsea and cousin Jarvis in Austin

Jackie surgery to remove ectopic pregnancy & right fallopian tube

April 2014:

Started in-home therapies with Early Childhood Intervention for general skills and speech therapy

Working on motor imitation, starting some sign language

3 seizures total (2 at daycare)

Virus/Roseola – fever and rash

To Georgetown to see Q’s new house!

Uncle Connor started working at Brookwood in Georgetown (BIG)

Genetic Results showed two variants of unknown significance // parents doing genetic testing next

 

First Week of May 2014:

Drinking 100% whole milk (no more formula!)

First steps!

Changing medication to try and prevent more breakthrough seizures, starting the transition from Phenobarbital to Topamax

 

Looking Forward To:

Jackie starting reduced hours at work in June!

Trip to Colorado for a wedding over Memorial Day

Friends and family coming to visit us this summer

Family reunions and family weddings

Summer! The pool!
