Valentine's Day 2011!

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day. It was 7 years ago on Valentine’s Day where PK and I sat at Johnny Carinos on 620 in Austin, TX. He got me one of the fake roses that sings from Walgreens, real cheesy. But it wasn’t long after that until we started dating, which was March 10, 2004. So this year will count 7 years of being together. That’s 30% of our years on earth have been spent together. We are so lucky to have found our soul mate in high school!
 
Valentine’s Day 2011: While I was at work, PK came and took my car out of the parking lot and went to get it washed for me and brought it back. I was worried someone would see him and think he was stealing my car!! But super sweet of him because my car was super dirty and the car washes have been about 4-5 cars deep in dallas after the big snow/ice storm. Then he picked me up for lunch and gave me a bouquet of flowers! I came home to some homemade soup (Chicken Fiesta Soup from the slow cooker), which was probably one of the best ones we made so far. We watched some good TV, started a puzzle and watched Ranger chew up his valentine’s stuffed animal we gave him. It was a perfect night of not having to fight off crowds or spend hundreds of dollars on a fancy valentine’s date. Simple, but perfect!
